Last week Nub News put out an appeal for people to return to the local cinema.

For one Frome resident it sparked an idea which involves supporting the Westway AND giving a local family a treat.

Suzy had a great idea: Support the cinema AND give a local family a boost by buying seats on behalf of someone else.

She explained: " I popped along to the Westway, who liked the idea, and spoke to Fair Frome, who liked the idea, too. So here I am with a set of vouchers to be taken to Fair Frome, who will give them to a family. I hope they have a lovely trip. "

But Suzy hopes that this won't be just a one show special.

" Wouldn't it be good to start a trend ?" She told Nub News. " For both the Westway and The Merlin Theatre (in the same way) Who wants to join me in sponsoring a family and helping our cinema and theatre? Let's get this going."
