The community of Frome is being asked to meet up their local crime prevention team in a relaxed atmosphere in a totally new event.

PC Heather Anderton and PCSO Gary Maule will be holding a Cuppa with a Copper session at Coffee #1, Westway, Frome next Wednesday to hear from the community.

They will be there for an hour and a half from 4pm onwards.

Heather said: "This is our first Cuppa with a Copper event in Frome. We have previously run them for young people. It is similar to our Beat Surgeries, but in a more public and relaxed atmosphere. We hope our communities will embrace this and take the opportunity to engage with their local policing team.

"So all you need is to go along, and join us, whether it just be to say hello or if you want to discuss any issues in your community."
