This coming Saturday's Somerset Farmers Market in Frome has been cancelled due to the weather forecast.

The market is currently on the terrace at the Cheese & Grain but the forecast is for very strong winds, gusting of up to 40 mph, and so they want to keep stallholders safe.

The Somerset Farmers Market showcases local produce and ethically sourced fruit and vegetables and is on in Frome on the second Saturday of each month.

With the Cheese & Grain currently closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, the market has been held outside.

The market in Keynsham will go ahead due to them having heavy duty gazebos.

A spokesperson for the company told Nub News : " Can't wait to be back inside the C&G. "

Somerset Farmers' Markets has been organising farmers' markets at locations across Somerset for over 20 years.

More details on where and when they are held and who takes part, on their page HERE : the SFM site
