No you will NOT go to the Frome College Prom, as it is cancelled due to rising coronavirus cases.

News just in that the much-longed for event, already scaled down after previous years were hosted at Longleat, has been postponed.

It was due to happen at the College on July 19 with an evening event to celebrate the end of the GCSE year.

In a newsletter just published the Principal of Frome College wrote: "Due to rising numbers of positive Covid cases amongst staff and students, we have had to take the decision to postpone the Year 11 Prom until a later date in September. Tickets will still be valid and we will publish the new date next week once everything is confirmed."

A relief to some, it is also a disappointment for those hoping 'normal' times were resumed and those who had already bought those all-important dresses.
