A 20-acre plot of land on the edge of Frome will go under the hammer this March.

The plot at Clivey has a guide price of £145,000 to £155,000 and is being marketed by Cooper and Tanner.

The auction will be held at The Theatre, The Royal Bath and West Showground on Thursday 20 March.

Described as a "versatile parcel of approximately 20 acres of level pasture land", the plot sits between Standerwick and Dilton Marsh.

The brochure describes it further as: "A useful block of pasture land located between the villages of Dilton Marsh and Standerwick extending to approximately 20.06 acres.

"The land is entirely level in aspect and has a good gated road access directly onto the B3099.

"Just inside the gateway is an area of hardstanding, making access into the land possible even through the wetter months and provides a useful open storage area.

"The land is bound and divided by mature hedges."
