An application has been put in for outline planning permission with all matters reserved for a residential development including ten affordable dwellings, formation of access, ancillary POS and landscaping. The application is for land at 377956 155306 Frome Road Norton St Philip and can been seen on the Mendip planning portal under Ref. No: 2020/2180/OTA.
Babington House has put in an application to create more hotel rooms.
The company wants to replace existing temporary workshop buildings with kids club and to transform the existing gym building into additional hotel accommodation. The moving out of a print studio over the last lockdown has led the owner of Charles House, R S P C A Eagle Lane in Frome to apply for a change of use to turn the basement into a bar. That would see it made into a Class 4 site, under Ref. No: 2020/1948/FUL
