On Butts Hill the motor works are going to be given a spruce up, after an application to replace the existing steel doors and brickwork was approved with conditions. The South West and North West sides are being replaced with double-glazed windows and timber doors. Planners were told : " The proposal will modernise the existing property which features old, dated features that are in need of renewal. The proposal will result in a visual enhancement of the property, replacing the
old materials with new. The proposed change from white to grey render would be appropriate to the location." The postcode of the site isBA11 1HS.
