In Beckington an application is in for a change of use from workshop and warehouse to single one bedroom dwelling with garage for the building adjacent to 1 Bath Road. Open for comments now under Ref. No: 2021/2588/FUL.
In planning decisions made this week by Mendip.
They have approved an application to build a new three bedroomed home and stand alone double garage at 24 Clink Road in Frome.
Approved, an application to build a single story side and rear extension at 6 Orchard Close Frome.
Approved by planners : an application to reduce a Magnolia by 1.5 metres, fell a Willow and cut back a Gleditsia at Fountain House, on Goulds Ground in Frome.
Also approved an application to pollard a Magnolia tree by two metres, at 13 High Street in Frome.
They have ruled that an application to put a single storey extension to two new dwellings at Bleets Farm on Feltham Hill in Frome is lawful.
And in an amendment to an existing application for seven new homes, an office building and associated works at Victoria Road in the Keyford ward of Frome, has been approved. This was previously the site of a transportation depot, Snelgrove's and access on one side is through existing housing.
An application was made for a non-material amendment to permission 2019/2982/FUL - specifically that the wording of planning condition 9 to the following;
'The development shall be constructed in full accordance with the approved construction management plan (Version 2) October 2021' Nub News has been contacted by locals around the area who have accused the developers of ignoring the traffic management agreements that they signed up to as conditions to operating. One resident told Nub News that they have been the subject of a warning from Planning Enforcement following the complaints. Within the planning amendment application it is stated : " The Council's Enforcement Team have received complaints about larger construction vehicles using the Victoria Road access, in breach of the CMP..... "On occasions it has proven essential to use the Victoria Road access inconnection with the development. This technically breaches the terms of the CMP which is why this application has been prepared. "
The amendment 2021/2298/NMA was approved on November 29.
