The police have confirmed to Nub News that they arrested a man in relation to a bin fire earlier this month in Frome.

He was arrested following a fire in Naish's Street last week.

Officers said:

"The 34-year-old was arrested on suspicion of starting a bin fire, in Naishs Street, at about 2.10am on Monday 8 March. He has been released under investigation.

"CCTV and house-to-house enquiries have been carried out.

"Anyone who witnessed what happened is asked to call 101 and give reference 5221049219."
