£100,000 has been slashed from the price of a Frome petrol station which remains on the market.

Frome Nub News reported last June the Texaco petrol station on Portway was on the market with agent Blue Alpine.

The site, which includes the kiosk and car wash, was originally put on the market for £1,550,000.

But the price has now been put down to £1,450,000.

The property is at present let to WS Retail Limited for a term of 20 years from 30th October 2014 - this will not be impacted by the sale.

The 0.55 acre site has four sets of pumps.

The filling station is also located close to Frome Railway Station and a number of major retailers.

Particulars says the station brings in an annual rent of £92,166.09.
