New headteacher welcomed to Sexey’s School

Sexey's School, part of the Quantock Education Trust, is "pleased to announce" the appointment of Steve Clayson as the new Headteacher.
Steve, who brings over 27 years of experience in education, has officially begun his role at the school this term.
Steve has spent 17 years in senior leadership roles within secondary schools and a sixth form college.
He is "deeply passionate" about the "transformative power of education" and is committed to ensuring all students "have the opportunity to achieve their full potential".
The school said Steve's leadership will build on its strong tradition of excellence, combining academic achievement with personal growth.
Steve said: "I am both honoured and excited to take on the role of Headteacher at Sexey's School.
"This is a wonderful school, with a talented and dedicated staff, and I am looking forward to working closely with them to ensure our students receive the best possible education.
"I believe that education should not only focus on academic skills, but also on moral and spiritual development, helping students grow into compassionate, responsible individuals. I'm committed to ensuring that every student has the support and encouragement they need to thrive and succeed."
The school said Steve's appointment marks the "beginning of an exciting new chapter". He is already on-site, familiarising himself with the staff and students, and is "looking forward to engaging with parents, carers, and the wider community" in the coming weeks.
