Music icon Sir Rod Stewart will grace the Glastonbury Festival stage next summer, taking on the coveted Sunday afternoon legends slot at Worthy Farm in Pilton.

Organisers confirmed the news on social media, saying: "We're excited to announce that Sir Rod Stewart will play the Sunday teatime legend slot at Glastonbury 2025."

The festival runs from 25–29 June, with Stewart set to take the stage on Sunday, 29 June.

The rock legend, known for hits such as Maggie May, Sailing, and Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?, is the latest in a long line of music icons to perform during the prestigious slot, following in the footsteps of stars like Dolly Parton, Diana Ross, and Shania Twain.

Sharing his excitement, Sir Rod said: "I'm absolutely thrilled to announce that I'll be playing Glastonbury 2025. After all these years, I'm proud and ready and more than able to take the stage again to pleasure and titillate my friends at Glastonbury in June. I'll see you there!"

This will mark a return to Worthy Farm for the star, who previously headlined the festival in 2002. His upcoming appearance makes him the first artist to perform in both the headline and legends slots at Glastonbury.
