Small - but perfectly formed - the line up for Saturday's Somerset Farmers' Market return to Frome

By Susie Watkins 9th Jul 2020

After a three month break to coronavirus the Farmers Market is due to return on Saturday but it will be a gradual return as the Cheese & Grain

building has still not yet re-opened.

However the managers of the C & G have very kindly allowed us to hold a 'micro farmers market' on the outdoor patio space and it is a great way

for us to make a safe return in the good old fresh air!

We are organising the lay out with an accessible entrance and exit so

that we can manage the numbers during busy periods with a sanitiser

station ,one way system and clearly marked lines for safe queuing.

On the stalls you will find products wrapped or behind sneeze guards

and sadly no tasters. Many traders will now offer contactless payment

but cash is still allowed.

Although smaller than usual the market will still have a wide range of

local produce and we are so excited to be able to finally return to

Frome ....we've missed you!

THE LINE UP FOR SATURDAY INCLUDES

BEECHRIDGE FARM- free range poultry, eggs & lamb

FUSSELS FINE FOODS- culinary rape seed oil and dressings

HONEY POT FARM- cider ,apple juices and cordials

IN CLOVER- hardy perrenial plants & willow work
