First time at this international competition and this Frome baker wowed the judges with this quite incredible creation.

Frome's Vicky Newport created this amazing piece of cake art for the competition in Birmingham, the first time she has entered.

All we can say is that we have not ever seen anything quite like it, and clearly nor had the judges who awarded her joint fourth place.

The cake was entered in one of the six special categories at the Birmingham 2021 Cake Design Contest.

Vicky's proud partner got in touch to say that he is so proud of her work, but she lacks confidence. How that can be when she is clearly so talented we have no idea.

Well done Vicky, who has been creating designs for ten years - your cake has now been featured in national newspapers, international and now local media.
