A bad miss as The Robins lose out to Cirencester

With Frome Town's cool as a cucumber player Jon Davies off with an injury, there was a lot of pressure on The Robins today.

They were up against Cirencester who are in third place in the Southern League.

There was some great play in an eventful first half, when the score could have been very different.

As it was Cirencester took the lead, but much like Jack Witcombe, who kept being knocked down and getting up again, the team powered back.

Rob Hobbs found an equaliser and it seemed that the match was all going The Robins way, but when a Joe O'Loughlin penalty was saved it was back into the changing rooms level pegging.

Second half had everything to play for, but an unlucky thirteen minutes in the home side were once again falling behind with the final score 2:1 to Cirencester.

Attendance was a highly respectable 325 with Frome Town back at The Nest next Saturday (October 31) for their Halloween match against Farnborough.
