The Frome RFC U16's were also in action over the weekend.

The squad travelled to Salisbury RFC on a sunny Sunday morning.

According to one fan on social media back in the late 1950s the town only had one rugby squad and they often struggled for players.

Now the firsts have been promoted, new captains are in place, and rugby in Frome is thriving.
