The fire service from Frome and from Shepton Mallet have been out this morning to an agricultural fire.

Two fire engines from Frome and Shepton Mallet were sent to reports of a tractor fire in Mells at just after ten o'clock.

On arrival crews discovered one tractor well alight.

Crews used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

The fire was believed to be caused by an electrical fault from the engine.
