The trial of a 19 year old charged with murder of a Radstock teenager has been rescheduled for late March.

Joshua Delbono has been charged with the murder of 16 year old Charley Bates in The Street in Radstock on July 31.

He appeared in Bristol Court Court today January 23 but following some newly released evidence the judge ruled that proceedings should not start.

Instead His Honour judge Peter Blair QC set a provisional date of March 27 for the case to be heard.

There was no application for bail and no plea was taken.
