Police have arrested two men in Frome on suspicion of burglary.

The incident happened on 6 March when a member of the public reported that a Porsche 911 had been taken from a property in the Warminster area of Wiltshire.

We were called when the car was spotted in the Frome area.

Enquiries carried out by officers revealed the vehicle was at a property in the Blatchbridge area.

Two men – aged 35 and 23 years – were subsequently arrested and transferred to Wiltshire police.

A/PS Joe Pitman said: "Even in these unprecedented times and with the increased demand relating to COVID-19, Operation Remedy officers are still taking every opportunity to be proactive and arrest burglary suspects.

"More importantly, the victim will get the vehicle back as a result of our proactive work.

"We will support our colleagues in Wiltshire, who continue to carry out investigations into the incident," said A/PS Pitman.
