Be aware that there are now rolling roadworks on the main road across to Buckdland Dinham from Frome.

Engineers have been working on the road for several days including today (April 17) as the high speed internet provider Voneus installs new cabling.

Although the works have not been scheduled on Somerset Highways they are part of the connection that the company has already installed into the system in the village.

Today there were long queues with two-way traffic lights on the A362.

As part of its contract, the company has given the community hall in the village free connectivity. You can read about that deal and plans for other villages including Mells by clicking HERE : the Frome Nub News site
