UPDATE : Frome welcomes the re-opening of a bakery favourite

Frome Town Centre was busy again today - with the return of a firm favourite and the engineering work seemingly making big progress.

The widening of the pavement outside Superdrug was well advanced, while around the corner, following some delay in sourcing perspex screens, Greggs has re-opened.

One other thing noticed by Nub News as we visited, work has started in the former Shoe Zone shop in Market Place.

The store closed in August 2017.

Plans have been passed to turn it into a café, antiques store, and upstairs office space. The building has remained empty since the shop closed in August 2017.
