The Cutting Bar has re-opened in the centre of Frome and while they still promise reasonably priced, super efficient hair cutting - you need to call ahead.
The hair salon, at 10, Westway no longer accepts drop in appointments, everyone must now call ahead to book a slot so that the team has time to sanitise the cutting stations between clients.
It is a different way of working, and because of pent up demand, the hair dressers are working extra long hours.
That said they are happy to be back at work - but not as happy as Nub News was to be able at long last to have a super chop.
All clients have to wear a masks, and a disposable apron, while all the staff wear full PPE including visors.
Top hair cutter Lianne Hancock told Nub News; " It take a bit of getting used to cutting while wearing a visor, but I am now used to it, I am really happy to be back."
The Cutting Bar is a small family business, initially started over 10 years ago in Newbury. They offer haircuts for everyone, for gents, ladies and children by professionally-trained stylists.
From a wash, cut & blowdry to gentlemen's barbering, they pride themselves on quality hairdressing with value for money.
