Frome Town Holdings Limited are sad to have to advise that Frome Town Limited – the Company within the FTH Group, who oversaw the running of The Sports Bar & Venue has gone formally into liquidation, as advised earlier by the FTFC release, while Frome Town Holdings held its release until official confirmation had been received from the liquidators.

Due to the general downturn in the licensing trade over the past few years, increased costs of utilities and stock, the impact of Covid-19 Lockdowns, along with the continuing headache of maintaining the building, this decision was reached after a great deal of discussion and thought.

Frome Town Limited was formed in 2008, to take over the running of the premises, during that time employing a number of managers and staff with varying degrees of success, with the level of turnover in latter years just covering the costs of staff, stock, and expenses the company was not profitable and unable to re-invest for its survival.

This occurrence shows the value of the forming of FTH Limited in 2014, and the breaking down of all arms of the Club into separate entities, so that in events as this, none of the other businesses within the Group would be affected.

Going forward, FTH are pleased to announce that the Trading License has been transferred to AS Pub Management Limited, a vastly experienced company in pub management, who operate many outlets locally and neighbouring counties.

FTH would like to thank ASPM, as part of their Agreement by sponsoring the officials and players Match-Day hospitality food for both the men's and women's first team home games.

The Premises will be under the Management of Donna and Richard Blagdon, of whom many of you will know, and are up and ready to welcome you back on May 17th 2021.

On behalf of all associated with Frome Town, we welcome Tony , Andy , Donna and Richard to "The Nest" and wish them all success in their new venture.

For all enquiries and hire please contact Donna on 07308149241
