It is, the Frome librarian agrees, not the biggest of incentives.

Are there any local writers to give up a few hours for a creative writing event to celebrate World Book Day?

Your 'prize' will be a flapjack from the College canteen, along with a big thank you.

It is World Book Day on March 7.

And while younger children will be busy pulling on Harry Potter outfits or dusting off their Gruffalo costume, it can be tricky to get teenagers involved.

So Frome College wants to host a creative writing workshop in the Frome College Library.

It would be from noon until 2pm, with a session for around 25 students aged 13-14.

The College has said you will get support.
