Coming up in Frome over the coming days and if you want to listen to live music you are in for a treat.

Saturday and this duo will be playing Frome Memorial Theatre.

Recording their debut album, 2014's 'From Where We Stand', while still in school, the pair have since cemented themselves as pioneers in the UK Country and Americana scene; not least for the follow-up album 'Cartwheels' released in 2016 going to No.1 in the UK Album Charts, the first by a UK country act to top the charts.

Also on Saturday - listen to some live music up at the Sun Inn at the top of Catherine Hill details HERE

Then on Sunday do you like living on the veg? It is the big seed swap and potato event in the centre of town.

The Frome Potato Day and Seed Swap brings together gardening enthusiasts, local businesses, and community groups to celebrate the joys of gardening. With a focus on sustainability, health, education, and community engagement, the event aims to inspire individuals to cultivate their growing spaces and foster a deeper connection to the environment.

So lots and lots happening at the Cheese & Grain.

Looking a little ahead, it seems all systems go for The George to re-open March 1. Looking forward to that.

And if that hasn't got you buzzing there is the start of the new Frome bee keeping course, next Tuesday at the canoe club. Still time to sign up. Details HERE

This is their annual course for complete beginners sessions first at the club house and then practical sessions in the Club apiary in West Woodlands.
