A letter to the Speaker of the Commons has gone in regarding Frome's absentee 'MP' David Warburton.

Written by the Labour candidate for the Frome constituency in 2019 Sean Dromgoole, it asks Sir Lindsay Hoyle to look into the issue of the MP, suspended by the party. Although the MP insists on his web site that he is still working, the letter points out that there is " No one to argue for our point of view in the House of Commons."

The letter asks the speaker for an update on the investigations into allegations made against the MP, and to ask David Warburton to consider his position.

The details about the allegations against the Frome and Somerton MP are HERE;

The letter concludes by asking what happened to the idea of no taxation without representation - and saying perhaps the people of Frome deserve a refund?
