A local Frome company is thrilled to have come away with double helpings from the annual Somerset business awards.

While it may not have been a usual sit down to a glamorous dinner type of awards ceremony night; the team at Marston Foods still managed to capture their thrill at winning.

Sarah Green, MD of Marston Foods said: " Wow, what a fantastic achievement! We're over the moon with our two awards (Large Business of the Year and Manufacturer & Producer of the Year) in the Somerset Chamber of Commerce Business Awards, and haven't stopped smiling since the ceremony.

"My son James was the first to text me to say Congratulations, which made me a very proud Mum & MD.

" As for all businesses, it's been a challenging year, but our amazing team spirit has got us through it together. My team are dedicated, committed and brilliant and quite frankly we couldn't have done any of this without them. We can't thank them enough, every single one of them."

Not only is the company now double award-winning, they are also growing.
