Frome has some wonderful green spaces including this, just minutes from the town centre, Millenium Green. Some residents may not be aware of was that it was once used as a quarry.

Since 2000, it has been in the hands of the Frome Millennium Green Trust, who keep it protected as a natural area, home to lots of wildlife, a community orchard and one of the oldest trees in Frome.

Because it is south facing, on crisp winter mornings it attracts many of the local photographers, one of whom produced this image taken earlier this week. Thank you Chris Seymour for sending it to Nub News.

The weather may not be so fitting for great photos over the next few days, with rain now forecast across Friday and into the weekend.

But it will be mild. The latest from the Met Office : Tomorrow will be a grey and mild start, with mist and fog in places. There will be the chance of some light rain through the day. Windy conditions throughout.

Temperatures around 12 degrees.
