Frome RFC seconds Christmas cheer

On Saturday the Frome RFC 2nd XV travelled to Sutton Benger RFC 1st XV in Dorset & Wilts 1 North, and with the home-side boasting the best home defence in the league, Frome knew they'd have to work hard to break the side down.

Frome managed to build some phases together with some lovely support play in the Forwards, and the ball coming out to the Backline, and with the Sutton Benger defence racing up, it allowed Fly Half Dom Jones to make a break and feed Full Back Leone Naucukidi who scored in the corner. The conversion being missed.

Residents are set to enjoy a festive treat with free parking from Saturday 18th December to Friday 24th December as an early Christmas present from Mendip District Council.

All Council-owned pay-and-display car parks will be fee-free to encourage locals, visitors and shoppers into the district to enjoy Mendip's unique shopping offering, iconic landscapes and merry markets.
