Frome Cricket Club first XI won by 115 runs.
Frome CC first XI 300-6 from 46 overs.
Street CC first XI 185 all out from 45.2 overs.
The Showmen secured the double, having won the Major 20/20 Cup and WEPL Somerset League, making this season one of the most successful for the club.
Rain threatened the game, after stormy weather. With this in mind the opening batsmen put on a marvellous show, with an incredible partnership of more than 200.
Lett (119) and Lewis (86) dominated the Street bowlers, before Lett fell. The attack did not stop there, R Croker (51) achieved an explosive half century in just 15 balls, which propelled Frome's total to 300.
Frome's batsmen had all but secured the game and the bowlers did not disappoint with Barton (3-40) setting the tone for Frome's bowling attack.
R Croker (3-44) continued the momentum, along with S Croker (2-15) and Lett (1-20). Veal (1-21) wrapped the game up with the final wicket, which sparked celebrations, as Frome win the title with three games remaining.
The Showmen face North Petherton at their ground next Saturday (12.30pm).
