A jam packed weekend of Frome RFC rugby - win or lose the team management say they could not be prouder of how all the squads performed.
Flying high the Frome squad came back with top marks - Evolution club is so proud of its team, in particular the new comers who performed so well. .
A brilliant morning of rugby, at Wells for the Frome U10's. Great performances from the whole squad - wonderful attacking rugby from Frome.
Gracie Barra Frome (GB Frome), a local Brazilian jiu-jitsu team, achieved their best competition performance at the inaugural Wiltshire Brazilian jiu-jitsu Championship Open. Children & adult competitors filled Grange Leisure Centre, Swindon, over the weekend and fought in hundreds of bouts for a place on the podium in the regional open.
Brazilian jiu-jitsu is a grappling form of martial arts that incorporates throws, takedowns, controlling pins & holds, along with submissions. Athletes are awarded points for advancing positional advantage over their opponents, or can win outright by preforming joint locks or chokeholds to achieve a submission.

An investment lobby charity ShareAction has today (March 28) appealed to Sainsbury's supermarket to be the first supermarket in the UK to pay the Living Wage.
They have put a resolution to the supermarket, which is backed by 10 institutional investors and over 100 individuals, to co-file a Living Wage pledge.
