Most of the line up for next season's Frome Town FC squad has been named and includes some firm fan favourites.

Captain Sam Teale has committed for his ninth season at the Hill, with the Robins manager calling him, truly inspirational.

James Ollis, who was the top goal scorer for last season, has signed again.

Hugely popular centre back Warren Maidment has signed for the upcoming season. Jon Davies is back, so is Joe O'Loughlin and super-fast Jack Witcombe

One new ish name Matt Wood signed from Shepton Mallet. Matt impressed all at Badger's Hill during last season.

Manager Danny Greaves, who has been with the club since 2018, wrote on the club's web site : "We went through a fairly big transitional period over the course of last season. Making changes mid-season is never easy, and it takes some time to get players out and get player in and then to embed the new players is a further process. It was painful at times, but we knew it would be, but also knew changes were required and we would see the benefits long term."

Departures just announced : Ben Withey will be taking a break from football to go travelling later in the year, Jago Thompson-Roberts is leaving to take up a scholarship in the US and Seth Locke will sadly be leaving the club in his pursuit for 1st Team Southern League Football.

The club will be playing a friendly against Bath on July 8 at home.

You can also work for The Robins, they have a number of positions, paid and volunteer, including a match reporter all the details HERE
