There was a happy return to Badgers Hill for both Jon Davies and Will Hailston as their goals gave Frome Town a 3-0 victory against Bideford.

Danny Greaves made one change to his Robins side ahead of their Southern League meeting with Bideford, with Alex Hallett replacing Marcus Mapstone.

The first effort of the game came on the seventh minute as Hailston flicked the ball goalwards from close range.

The forward managed to get his second of the season shortly after, as he was able to pounce on a mistake made by opposition 'keeper Joe Moore.

The Robins got their second via the boot of returning hero Jon Davies, as he strongly struck the ball home from just outside the area.

Things went from bad to worse for the travelling faithful, as the Devonian Robins went down to ten men as Josh Wadham was sent-off.

Davies got his second of the night, on his Badgers Hill return after a season away at Melksham, as he put The Robins three goals up just after the half hour mark.

There was nearly a first half hat-trick from the winger but his effort was palmed away to safety by Moore.

The visitors gave a great account of themselves in the second half, despite being a player down, limiting the hosts to just a few chances.

Two-goal Davies had a second chance to grab his hat-trick but his speculative effort from long range was once again palmed away by Moore.

The hosts finished the game at a canter, and The Robins remain unbeaten with two wins and two clean sheets.

THE ROBINS XI: Brown, Cooper, O'Loughlin, Teale, Hallett, Peck (Smith 68'), Davies, Monks (Hobbs '65), Hailston, Cottle (Bath '68), Mannings.
