The Frome RFC Minis & Juniors Season 22/23

When?

The playing season runs from the first Sunday in September (Sunday 4th) through to the end of the season in May. There will be training or fixtures every Sunday except during Christmas and Easter breaks.

Minis Rugby - U6s (Yr1) to U12s (Yr6) is held on Sunday mornings between 09:30 and 10:30 and Junior Rugby - U13s (Yr7) to U18s (Yr13) 10:30 – 12:00 on Sundays too & Wednesdays 18:30 – 20:00 (timings will likely vary so please check our website and social media channels)

Where?

Frome RFC, Gypsy Lane, Frome. Ample free parking is available on-site.

How to join?

We offer free taster sessions for the first two weeks - so simply come along and see how your child enjoys playing rugby. Your Team Coach will be able to take you through the membership process and discuss joining fees.

What to bring?

A water bottle and appropriate sportswear. Footwear should be studded rugby (or football) boots, or if the ground is hard then trainers. Rugby is a winter sport so waterproofs and warm clothing should be considered - for players and for parents! Muddy kit and boots are not allowed in the Clubhouse, so it would be a good idea to have a kit bag with a clean change of clothes. We have a wide range of Frome RFC playing and training kit which can be purchased via the website and clubhouse shop.

Dogs?

As Frome RFC is a sports club, our policy is strictly no dogs on the grassed areas or in the clubhouse. Please respect our policy when you visit our facilities.

Frome RFC run a Minis section for boys and girls aged 5 to 12, plus a Junior sections for ages 13 to 16 and an Academy for U17 and U18 players.

Each age group are managed by RFU qualified coaches and a qualified first aider.
