As the Frome RFC senior players kick on into week five of preseason training, they'll begin to have sights on their upcoming trial and warm up fixtures in August.

Frome RFC Director of Rugby, Garrie Webster commented "I'm looking forward to the Players testing themselves against some very tough opposition. Midsomer Norton RFC, a side that sit in Counties 1 Western North, is always a battle.

Will also come up against Chippenham RFC, who we played last season in Regional 2 Severn, a level and league we aspire to get back too."

We are actively recruiting new players to join our senior squad ahead of the 2023/24 season. No matter your shape, size, background, or skill level….rugby is a sport for all and there is a place for you at Frome RFC.

We have four senior men's teams at the club playing at various levels:

1st XV - Counties 1 Southern South

2nd XV - Counties 2 Dorset & Wilts Central

3rd XV - Counties 4 Somerset North

Cavalry XV (vets) - Social fixtures

We have fantastic training facilities at the club with access to:

• Six grass Pitches (including one floodlit pitch)

• Floodlit training area

• Strength and Conditioning Equipment

We also have very impressive off-field facilities boasting a spacious clubhouse including three indoor bars and balcony area as well two beer gardens and an outdoor bar.
