There are some big changes coming at Frome Town football club, as three members of the board move onto work for the holding company.

The club says it is too early to give any details on what changes might be happening at the ground, but has released the following statement.

.....

The wording, in full:

Dear Supporter,

As mentioned in our open statement back in August 2019, the club is planning to make changes to our existing structure and organisation. At this point, we believe it is the right time to update our supporters and partners of the changes within Frome Town AFC Limited, that will be occurring at the end of this playing season.

We know that there is much speculation regarding our potential ground developments, although we can not confirm anything on this matter at this time. Three of our existing directors including our Chairman will be focusing on roles within Frome Town Holdings Limited from the end of this season.

Jeremy Alderman (Chairman), Ivan Carver and Neil Clark will be relinquishing their roles for their new positions. The club is keen to recognise the work undertaken by these Directors over the last decade. Overseeing the clubs rise to it's highest ever historical league position and the transformation of the stadium. As they move away from day to day activities within the Football Club, we are extremely fortunate to retain their expertise and services within Frome Town Holdings to ensure the growth of our wonderful club.

We are announcing this now, as it gives the club the required time to restructure and form a new board. These appointments would be based on the requirements to complete the clubs short and medium term goals. There will be more information on roles to follow, any enquiries or interested parties should get in contact in writing to Gary Collinson. During any interim period Gary Collinson will be the main contact point for the club.

We hope that everyone joins with us to praise the work undertaken by Jeremy, Ivan and Neil. We will have individual statements from the transitioning board members at the end of the season.

The FTFC Board.
