Podcasts - a huge phenomena and now Frome can learn how to make them

Frome's hugely popular local radio station is getting right at the head of the new media game, offering training in how to make a podcast.

Podcasts are massively in demand across the world, and can be produced by individuals with no connection to broadcasting.

In the UK it has been reported that nearly six million adults listen to a podcast every week - about double that of five years ago, according to the telecoms regulator Ofcom.

Anyone with something to say can produce a podcast, and Frome FM will be offering teaching you how.

Due to massive demand for Podcasts ,Frome FM are about to launch a new Podcast Training Programme to train , assist and produce podcasts for Individuals , groups and businesses in the Somerset county area.

It will start on April 1.

FromeFM have the expertise , experience and studios to make it happen. They already have 86 volunteers working at the ever-popular station but are always ready to welcome more.
