Interesting work.

Here with our picks for the weekend ahead. Remember please do list your events, big small or somewhere in between. It is FREE just click the Nub button HERE to put in the details.

Coming up :

On Friday :

Its big and back. Big Up! returns for 2023, bringing the boombastic anthems, dutty vibes and junglist mayhem to Frome once more…

Dancehall, Jungle, DnB, Reggae, Afrobeats and more from a line up of DJs including Zen Strong, The Firm, Bassbeatz, Higher Vibrations, Lemz, BMB and more… at 23 Bath Street

On Saturday :

This is rather lovely too, starting this weekend. Frome Art Society (FAS) springs into summer taking over this space - the Open Art from these young artists

.

You can also buy art on show at Black Swan Arts HERE on until to Sunday 14 May.

On Monday :

Mayday Mayday. Would you like to join a dawn chorus ? There will be a (very ) early mass singing event to welcome the spring with a traditional May morning chorus of folk and popular songs to symbolise new beginnings in Saxonvale in Frome. The event is free and open to anyone who would like to attend, you do not need a ticket.

This beautiful celebration will be followed by other traditional May activities from 7am, including:

  • Morris Dancing by Mr. Wilkins Shilling
  • Music by Patrick Dunn's Folk Ensemble
  • May Day flower garland making
  • Hot cross buns, bacon butties, and hot drinks (vegan options available)

If that wasn't all looking a little further ahead, a new Frome first with a local history festival. So much to offer in this town. HERE
