Frome travelled to Bath looking to build on the previous week's win against Yeovil.
The visitors started strongly and after they were awarded a penalty in the home sides 22, they choose to run and the ball was passed to Inside Centre Cory Plumridge who ran a great line to score under the posts. The try was converted by Full Back Henry Bull to give Frome an early lead.
The home side then started to put Frome under pressure and after an indiscretion at the breakdown Avonvale were awarded a penalty, the resultant kick hit the upright and bounced back into play however Frome failed to clear their lines and conceded another penalty which the home fly half duly converted.
Avonvale continued to press and despite some staunch defence lead by No.8 Alex Mallon, they managed to get the ball wide for the winger to score in the corner and give them a slender 8-7 lead at half time.

Frome looked to run the ball again from the restart, and after an initial break by Hooker Rowan Walton, the ball was worked out to replacement Sam Cassidy who beat two would be tacklers, and looked to be on his way to score, but was tackled just short of the line, however he was able to find Flanker Sam Bartlett in support who dotted down for the try.
Avonvale looked to push Frome back with their fly half looking to use the slope to gain ground, however after a kick was fielded by Winger Simon Finch he put in a great 50/20 kick to give Frome procession in the opposition 22 from the line out the ball was worked out to Frost to grab his second try.
