Frome roadworks for week commencing October 21

It is going to be a busy week for Bristol Water in Frome

It is going to be a busy week in Frome for Bristol Water, as the company has nine sets of roadworks scheduled for the town.

From Monday October 21 to Wednesday October 23, the firm will be undertaking works in Marston Lane, Stourton Close, Windsor Crescent, Pedlars Grove, Ashtree Road, Stonebridge Drive, Linnet Way and Blackbird Way.

Then from Wednesday until Friday October 25, the company will be repairing a defective cover in Portland Road.

Other roadworks in Frome next week include:

From Wednesday to Friday the work to replace a sign post at the junction of Horton Street and Vallis Way is now scheduled to take place.

From Sunday October 27, four days of work by BT to locate and excavate a blockage in a duct is scheduled in Manor Way, while the company is also planning work to install a poly duct in Clink Road.

A week of work by Scottish and Southern Energy in Redland Terrace is scheduled to start on Friday.

On Tuesday October 22, the permit for scaffolding in Westfield Road is scheduled to run out.

On Monday, gas work by Wales and West Utilities in Berkley Road is scheduled to be completed, and on the same day the company's work to lay a new gas service in Monmouth Drive should be finished.

Meanwhile, Eagle Lane is scheduled to remain closed until November 24 for remedial works to take place on the building at Studio Prints Ltd.
