Remember the gorgeous Frome baby born under lockdown?

Well little Levi Lansdown has not had a totally easy first few weeks, but he has finally got to meet his grannny.

As we heard on Nub News it was a highly difficult time when Levi came into this world, born just a few days after lockdown was imposed.

He was safely delivered at the Royal United Hospital, but it was a solitary time for mum Jayde and her supportive partner Ashley.

And when Levi was brought home there were none of the welcoming cuddles from his wider family and all the social joy of meeting the latest edition.

You can read about Levi's arrival in April here :

Due to the social distancing rules it was weeks before his granny who has been working throughout lockdown got to have a cuddle and even now many of the family have yet to meet him,

But now, at long last granny Paula has been able to give him a cuddle.

Poor Levi has had some health issues and his worried mum once again is full of praise for the team at the RUH.

Jayde explained : "Levi has not been well, he's been in and out of hospital twice with a dairy allergy and reflux."

So she contacted Nub News to pass on special thanks to the RUH for everything they have done for Levi - both times he has been into hospital and all the support in finding out what was wrong.

Granny Paula got to hold Levi at seven weeks . Jayde said: " Thank you to my mum for staying so strong through this lockdown even when she couldn't see me, my sister, my brothers and all four grandchildren. She has worked every day whether its serving customers at her shop or delivering papers to the most vulnerable."

Jayde said: " All precautions were made and we spoke to my health visitor beforehand. He has slowly met and held by some of his family that live in Frome and my dad, brother and sisters have met and held him."

But for the wider family from Bath and Ashley's family from Yate have yet to say hello in person. That will have to wait until baby Levi's bubble is allowed to be even bigger.
