Parents can access support and advice on a range of topics including infant feeding, sleep and safety at home, thanks to a series of free webinars run by Health Visitors.

The Health Visiting Team from the Community Children's Health Partnership, which is led by Sirona care & health and partners, is running a number of webinars from July to September for parents across the region.

Our Health Visitors will give advice and tips on infant feeding, introducing family food, sleep and home safety. They will also be on hand to answer any questions and signpost people to further support, if necessary.

The team began running the webinars at the start of the pandemic when face-to-face meetings were not possible. These virtual sessions have proved so successful; the Health Visitors are continuing to run them alongside face-to-face groups, to enable more people to attend.

Penny Hazelwood, Sirona's Professional Lead for Public Health Nursing, said: "We are delighted to be able to offer these webinars as it means more families can benefit from the support offered by our Health Visitors.

"Our webinars provide parents and carers with the latest advice on a range of topics including infant feeding, sleep, safety at home and introducing family food. Our Health Visitors can also answer any questions you may have about your baby and ensure you have the support you need."
