The Frome MP David Warburton has been taken back into hospital.

Today (July 6) an announcement was made on his web page at around 17:00.

It said simply; " Following a sharp decline in his mental health, David has today been readmitted to a psychiatric hospital for urgent treatment. David's office continues to function as normal. "

The MP has had the whip suspended following allegations of drug taking, receiving a loan from a Russian businessman and at least two counts of sexual assault.

There is now a campaign to get the MP for Frome to step down, while the Liberal Democrats have been busy campaigning in the town.
