New source of numbers with coronavirus shows Mendip with very low rates

A newly released searchable list gives, for the first time, the local number of coronavirus cases by area.

So people in Frome can see the number of reported cases in Mendip.

As of May 7 the list shows that there have been 49 actual cases of coronavirus in what is called a Lower Tier Authority, one of the lowest rates in the UK.
