As more and more events are being organised locally Nub News is launching a new weekly round up of what's on in Frome each weekend.

Every Thursday we will now bring you our top picks of the events in our What's On section for the coming weekend.

Here are our top event picks for the coming days:

  1. The Frome Independent - back for a second outing in 2021.

With hundreds of stalls, scores of eateries it is when the Frome roads get closed to traffic and the town is rammed.

The free-to-attend event will run from early morning until 3pm.

  1. The Frome carnival duck race. At the time time there will be a race along the river of the plastic kind. Done as a fundraiser for the Street Carnival you can find out more by clicking HERE : The fun starts at 2pm
