If Christmas and New Year seem a dim and distant past, then you will be ready for some events coming up this weekend.

It may still be a (little) bit festive here in Frome, but the year is stepping up a gear with lots in the diary.

There is still this great little exhibition down at the station approach in Frome - it's all about folk by local folk. There are some great pieces by local artists, well worth a visit. Last chance to visit on until January 5

On Sunday : It is said that everyone has a book in them. Would you like to try and find a new way to get those words out on the page ? For all kinds of creatives this monthly class is a master class at Black Swan. Find out more about the tried and tested Pomodoro Technique. This involves breaking work down into manageable 25-minute bursts, separated by short breaks. All you need to know HERE

And on Monday - what is your New Year's resolution ? Why not make it learning how to sew, great for your wardrobe and great for your wallet and who knows you could be on the Great British Sewing Bee ? All the details on how to sign up to the class HERE

And if you want to be PART of Frome's great art scene then it is NOW time to apply to be part of the Frome Open Art Trail. Details HERE of the amazing town-wide event which will be on in July. So that's a summer to look forward to.

Remember if you have an event - gig, concert, exhibition, jumble sale or bingo, you can list it FOR FREE here on our site, just click the Nub button.
