Want to find out how to write your inner book ?

Second Sunday Supercharged Writing Workshop at The Write Place, Frome

Are you feeling in need of a dedicated writing day with other writers to spur you on?!

The Write Place in Frome, Somerset, is offering Supercharged Writing Workshops every second Sunday of the month.

The sessions will be run by Carole Enahoro, a writer of satirical novels, finalist for the Commonwealth Literary Prize, and feature writer. She has spent two decades running fiction workshops and courses.

Carole will be using the Pomodoro Technique. This involves breaking work down into manageable 25-minute bursts, separated by short breaks. Everyone shares their goals at the start and gives an update on progress at the mid-point and end of the morning session. All you need to bring with you is an idea of what you want to write on the day, your laptop, and a notebook. We will guide you through the session and explain how the Pomodoro Technique will help you to focus and write lots of lovely words.

There is coffee and biscuits to keep you going - and the café at The Black Swan Arts Centre downstairs

£10 for The Write Place members (please use promo code: TWPMember)

£15 for non-members

No previous writing experience is required, and the Pomodoro Technique works for all wordsmiths – creative or academic. You'll be amazed at how much you achieve!

Arrive at The Write Place at 10am, on the top floor of Black Swan Arts, for a writing workshop that lasts until 3pm, with a break for lunch and a walk at 1pm. You can either bring your own lunch or order at the River House Café downstairs.

If you'd like to keep writing after lunch, we carry on Pomodoroing until wrap-up at 3pm.
