Frome is fizzing with pre Festival excitement. Don't forget tickets are now on sale for all the events for the week in July.

There are also some incredible acts at the Silk Mill. You can see the rundown on our Whats On pages. And of course there is a 'small' matter of a Platinum Jubilee to celebrate next weekend. The George Hotel in Frome is pulling out all the stops for a right royal knees up. You can read about what they have planned HERE

This coming weekend ...

On Friday May 27:

How about a trip down memory lane at the Memorial Theatre? Unashamedly nostalgic, That Will Be The Day takes its audience on a rollercoaster ride through the 'golden' age of Rock 'n' Roll and Pop. Toe tapping stuff. Find out more HERE

On Saturday May 28:

Feeling shrubby? Head over to Selwood Academy in Frome for their plant sale. They are also selling bric-a-brac and gardening tools.

What's not to dig.

Timings HERE

On Sunday May 29:

It is described as a mega event and it is certainly a big hit. The South West's biggest record fair is on at the Cheese & Grain. With over 60 tables is nothing short of vinyl heaven. HERE

Or if you are more into reading than records what could be sweeter than this? SUNDAY AT 10:30 AM Sunday Storytime: Maudie Smith at Hunting Raven Books in Cheap Street. Details on their Facebook page.

Don't forget you can list your Frome event HERE.
