The manager of Frome Town has said it will be a valuable rest time for the team ahead of a critical game next week.

In a nailbiting game which went to penalties The Robins made it through the quarter final of the League Challenge cup after beating Swindon Supermarines at the Wiltshire ground. As an extra sweetener the winning penalty came from the captain Sam Teale.

The result means that the top of the table clash against Thatcham will be postponed. The new fixture date will be subject to confirmation from the league.

Manager Danny Greaves gave his reaction to the Swindon game and said: "(I was) delighted with the reaction from our lads following Saturday's disappointment. We felt we had lost our way a little in recent games and wanted to use tonight to relax and get back to basics and start doing the things which has put us in our strong position in the league so far.

"Swindon have an extremely strong squad I showed us respect with their line up, so to compete with a top side who sit in the playoffs from the league above, and who have aspirations to get promoted into the national league was very pleasing and should give the lads a lot of belief as to how good we can be.

" We now have a much needed break on Saturday which we will use to train and prepare for another tough test away at Bristol Manor Farm."
