Frome RFC III 41 - 17 Walcot RFC II

The Frome RFC 3rd XV took on Walcot RFC 2nd XV on Saturday in the last league fixture of the season at The Lane.

Walcot started strongly and were on the scoreboard in the opening minutes with a well worked try.

Frome responded well and took began to take control, with the Pack working well, and Backline gaining territory. The home side managed to score three tries before halftime with the pick of the bunch coming from young Centre Zach Stickley who dotted down after a lovely kick through from Fly Half James Gallop.

Ali Fishers men continued to tick over the scoreboard despite the visitors dotting down for two more further try's.

With the powerful forward pack, the side showed accurate handling to find the spaces, with the game finishing with Frome winning 41-17.

This was Ali Fisher's last game of Captain of the 3rd XV, and the Club would like to thank him for his contribution and efforts over the last few seasons, a sterling job.

Points came from; Matt Jones x2, Zach Stickley x2, Bryan Loftus, Josh Keene and Jamie Eveleigh with 4 conversions and 1 penalty.
